Right hand at impact

Hello,
Should the right hand to be in extension at impact? should we keep this extension on the right hand until the arms are parallel to the ground? should we release this extension of the right hand after impact, before or after?

In my case I release the extension of right hand in order to extend the radius of the arc of the swing at catch the ball otherwise I would top it. I must be doing something wrong for sure. Please help.

I can submit a video but I don’t know where should i do it.
