A pressure of five or six at impact: is this approximately the same as feeling like we’re swinging at about 50% of our maximum effort at the bottom of the arc to give us the best chance of making a smooth-looking swing and making solid contact?

    Hello Donald,

Thank you for your question, we apologize for our delay in our response to you. As you move into impact the pressure and energy of the golf swing is increasing. As the speed and energy of the swing increases it is crucial that the pressure increases as well so that you can experience solid contact with a stable club face. We use the number scale to illustrate that we want to be relaxed but ready and alive at setup then as we move dynamically with strength and energy the pressure of the body, hands and arms will increase through impact to the finish. Don’t be overly concerned with creating a precise number as you swing just give yourself a sense that as you move the club with more energy the strength and pressure will increase!
