I just completed Chapter 1 and am loving the program. At the beginning of each body movement as i am taking my stance, i tried pressing my toes into the ground while balancing my feet for strength and stability. Seems to give me more connected to the ground. Has anyone tried this technique? Looking forward to Chapter 2.
Hi Ed – I have not tried that. However, I do dig my toes into the ground slightly to start my surf to level movement. I believe Bryan mentioned this at one point and it has really helped. If you like chapter 1, You’ll really love 2 and 3! I do recommend that you video your movements and use the assessment forms to see check yourself out. So many times there is a disconnect between what we are doing and what we think we’re doing.
